Married at First Sight UK is set to return to our TV screens this autumn for its ninth series with white dresses, romance and drama galore.
The hit reality show sees a host of single men and women meeting for the first time at the altar on their wedding day, after being matched by a team of relationship experts.
Each couple makes a commitment to each other at a non-binding wedding ceremony that includes guests, bridal gowns, speeches and cake.
Following their big day, the newlyweds jet off for a sun-soaked honeymoon before moving in together, attending “dramatic dinner parties” before reuniting at commitment ceremonies “where every marriage is put under the microscope and scrutinised by our relationship experts”.

Born in Guyana, Richelle and her family moved to London when she was two years old, and she now splits her time between Guyana and the UK, where her 20-year-old daughter lives. She studied for a degree in politics before going on to be a successful business consultant, but feels she’s missing someone to share her life with. She’s seeking someone funny, fit, tall, driven, successful and financially independent, and won’t settle for less than she’s worth.
