The Erie Times-News, as it has since the start of District 10's fall sports season, will list top performances for Erie County athletes for a given week.
The following are notable results achieved from Oct. 7-12:
Girls tennis
Hannah Nichols, Fairview: The senior lived up to her top-seeded status for District 10's Class 3A singles tournament at Westwood Racquet Club.
Paige Patsy, Cathedral Prep: She qualified for next month's PIAA Class 2A singles tournament as District 10's gold medalist.
Girls golf
Genelia Kang, McDowell: Her round of 89 was the lowest for the Trojans when they advanced to the PIAA Class 3A team tournament with a three-team subregion victory at The Country Club of Meadville.
Boys soccer
Jack Williams, Mercyhurst Prep: His two goals and two assists highlighted the Lakers' 8-0 shutout of the Corry Beavers.
Trevor Dean, Seneca: His two goals accounted for half of the offense for the Bobcats when they blanked Iroquois 4-0.
Esteban Millet, Cathedral Prep: He scored twice for the Ramblers when they beat North East 8-0 at Dollinger Field.
Owen Pecorella, Girard: He scored one goal and assisted on two others for the YellowJackets, who defeated Fort LeBoeuf 7-1.
Gio Masone, General McLane: His mammoth four-goal, three-assist performance stood out when the Lancers won 10-0 at Franklin.
Lukas Bentsen, McDowell: He finished with three goals and two assists when the Trojans routed the Oil City Oilers 11-0.
Giovanni Negrini, Mercyhurst Prep: He recorded a hat trick for the Lakers, who routed the Saegertown Panthers 9-0.
Girls soccer
Brenna Kuhl, Seneca: Her four-goal performance highlighted the scoring for the Bobcats, who defeated the Cambridge Springs Blue Devils 9-1 at Diffenbacher Field.
Emma Walker, General McLane: Her hat trick, plus an assist on a fourth goal, highlighted the offense for the Lancers when they blanked the visiting Fairview Tigers 6-0.
Olivia Dixon, Cathedral Prep: The Gannon University recruit scored or assisted on each goal during the Ramblers' 3-2 win against Fort LeBoeuf.
Abbi Erion, Girard: Her eighth hat trick this season, plus two assists, dominated the statistics for the YellowJackets' 7-1 victory vs. Erie High.
Mallory Hammill, Seneca: She contributed as a goalkeeper and scorer for the Bobcats when they blanked Maplewood 6-0.
Claire Faulhaber, McDowell: Her two goals highlighted the scorer for the Trojans when they shut out the Erie High Royals 6-0.
Jenna Popowski, Fort LeBoeuf: Her one-goal, three-assist effort for the Bison highlighted their 6-0 shutout of Fairview.

Girls volleyball
Olivia Hutchinson, Cathedral Prep: Her team-high 14 kills were reasons why the Ramblers swept the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers.
Addy Greene, Fairview: Her backcourt double-double of 28 assists and 19 digs was augmented by six kills and five aces for the Tigers, who beat the Union City Bears in four sets.
Addy Tyree, Erie First Christian: She recorded a double-double for the Eagles (13 kills and 13 digs) when they swept Cambridge Springs 25-15, 25-11, 25-14.
Jalyssa Wicker, North East: She led the Grapepickers with 10 kills during their 26-24, 25-18, 26-24 sweep of the Northwestern Wildcats.
Emily Stafford, Seneca: Her nine kills and 15 digs contributed to the Bobcats' four-set victory vs. Iroquois.
Lexie Janke, Harbor Creek: Her team-high 14 kills, plus eight digs, helped the Huskies prevail in five sets against the McDowell Trojans.
Grace Allen, Corry: Her 10-kill, six-dig effort aided the Beavers when they swept the Girard YellowJackets.
Olivia Bulger, North East: Her team-high 10 kills, plus nine digs, contributed to the Grapepickers' 25-20, 25-15, 25-13 victory vs. the General McLane Lancers.
Boys cross country
Kamden Kramer, McDowell: The Trojans defeated the Meadville Bulldogs 17-42 in part from his first-place time of 16 minutes, 56 seconds.
Blake Glass, Fort LeBoeuf: For a second straight week, he set the Picnicana Park course record (16:70) when the Bison beat the Mercyhurst Prep Lakers 21-34.
Travis Bach, Girard: The YellowJackets defeated the Iroquois Braves 19-38 in part from his first-place time of 14:56.43.
Josh Mitcham, Union City: The freshman's low time of 12:39.82 also helped the Bears beat the Eisenhower Knights 20-39 in their Region 4 dual.

Girls cross country
Lauren Dever, McDowell: Her time of 19 minutes, 40 seconds was the fastest for the Trojans during their 24-33 dual victory at Meadville.
Madison Link, Fort LeBoeuf: She crossed the Picnicana Park course finish line first (21:02) when the Bison defeated Mercyhurst Prep 15-50.
Devyn Agnello, Girard: Her time of 18:00.34 was the fastest for a dual the YellowJackets won over Iroquois.
Ava Reagle, Union City: She recorded the fastest time (15:48.51) for a dual between the host Bears and Eisenhower.
